In Part III, Michael’s villa is in Bagheria, just east of Palermo, and Kay’s station bears its name. According to the sources, the “Bagheria” scenes were all shot elsewhere: in Palermo, Taormina and Segesta.
The place today
The real Bagheria is famous for its 18th-century aristocratic villas, above all Villa Palagonia, the “Villa of Monsters”, whose walls are lined with dozens of grotesque statues. Open to visitors.
