New York County Courthouse — Foley Square, Manhattan
In the New York guidePlan a day here
On screen
Barzini, the great enemy, falls that same morning. He comes out of the courthouse and down the broad steps. Al Neri, disguised as a uniformed policeman, argues with his driver about the parking, then shoots the bodyguard and Barzini himself, who collapses on the steps.
The place today
The New York County Supreme Court, a hexagonal building with a Corinthian-columned front facing Foley Square. Its broad steps have appeared in dozens of films and series. It is a working courthouse; you can sit on the steps and take pictures. Chinatown and Little Italy are a few minutes’ walk away.
