Home of the Dursleys, Harry’s Muggle aunt and uncle. Harry sleeps in the cupboard under the stairs, Dudley counts his birthday presents, and soon the letters from Hogwarts start arriving by the dozen. The front of the house was filmed on a quiet cul-de-sac in Bracknell.
The place today
A private house on a quiet estate in Bracknell, about an hour from London. A family lives here: see it from the street only, quietly, without disturbing the neighbours.
Did you know? The real street appears only in the first film. Filming there again and again was impractical, so for the later films a replica was built at the Leavesden studios.
