The place today
A working private school, one of England’s oldest and best known. You can only get in on a guided tour: public tours run a few times a year with tickets, and groups can book private ones.
Did you know? The room dates from 1615 and needed little dressing for the film. Its wooden panels are carved with the names of generations of pupils, including the poet Lord Byron.
