Before the Yule Ball, Professor McGonagall gathers the Gryffindors in a vaulted hall to teach them to dance, and picks a mortified Ron as her partner for the demonstration.

Open daily for a short self-guided visit on a cheap ticket, or as part of the Bodleian’s guided tours. It sometimes closes for events.
Did you know? Built between 1424 and 1488, it is the university’s oldest teaching room. In the first film it played the Hogwarts hospital wing.
