Contact and Requests

We read every message. All questions and requests go through one form.

1. The contact form

The form runs on Google Forms. No sign-in is needed, and every field except the message is optional.

2. Choose the type of request

• A mistake in the content (a wrong place, fact, link or translation).
• Copyright, a photo credit, or a removal request.
• Privacy: to see, correct or delete data about you.
• Accessibility: a barrier on the site, or a request for information in another format.
• Anything else.

3. What to include

• The page address, or the name of the place or scene.
• What is wrong, or what you would like us to do.
• For a copyright request: which work is yours, where it appears on the site, and how you hold the rights.
• For a privacy request: which data it is about, and whether you want to see it, correct it or delete it.
• An email address only if you want a reply.

Please don't send sensitive details, identity documents or other people's personal details.

4. What happens next

• We review every request.
• When there is doubt about content that may infringe someone's rights, we remove or hide it promptly while the request is being reviewed.
• If you left an email address, we aim to reply within 30 days.

5. Your data

The form is operated through Google Forms, so Google's privacy terms apply to Google's processing (https://policies.google.com/privacy (opens in a new tab)). We use what you send only to handle your request, and we do not share it with anyone else. Submissions, and the email notifications we receive about them, are deleted within 12 months.
