⚖️ Films on the Map
Terms of Use and Disclaimer
Films on the Map (https://films-on-the-map.pages.dev, "the site") is a free, independent fan guide to the filming locations of The Godfather trilogy and the Harry Potter films. These terms apply to every use of the site. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
1. Who runs the site
The site is run by private individuals in Israel ("the site operators", "we"). It is a non-commercial project. There are no ads, no paid or sponsored content, and nothing is sold on the site. You can reach us through the Contact page.
2. Estimates only
The information comes from public sources and fan research and is presented as an estimate only. Filming locations are marked approximately. Some scenes were shot in studios or combine several places. There may be errors, omissions and outdated details.
3. Check for yourself
Before any visit, trip, purchase or decision, check the details yourself with official sources: opening hours, prices, bookings, transport, accessibility, weather and safety rules. Checking is solely the responsibility of the person using the information.
4. Content prepared with AI assistance
Some texts, translations and descriptions on the site were prepared with the help of artificial-intelligence tools. We review the content as far as we can, but it may still contain errors. If you find a mistake, please tell us through the Contact page.
5. Private property, private homes and local rules
Some places are private homes, businesses or closed areas. Respect residents and signs, don't enter private property without permission, and follow local law.
For filming locations that are private homes, we apply a fixed policy:
- we do not publish house numbers;
- we do not show a photo of the house;
- map links lead to the street, not to the house;
- the page shows a clear "Private home — please do not disturb" notice.
At such places, look only from the public street. Do not knock, enter, block driveways or entrances, photograph residents, or fly drones over the property.
6. Safety
Visiting any place is at your own risk. Take extra care near roads, railway lines, cliffs, water and construction sites.
- Railways and viaducts: stay on public paths, viewpoints and platforms. Walking on or next to railway tracks is dangerous and illegal in many countries.
- Drones: follow the drone rules of the country you are in. Many of them require registration and forbid flying over people, crowds or private property without permission.
- Churches, cathedrals and other places of worship: respect services, dress codes and photography rules.
7. No liability
To the extent permitted by law, the information is provided "as is", with no warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for any purpose. To the extent permitted by law, the site operators are not liable for any damage, loss, expense or inconvenience, direct or indirect, arising from using or relying on the information on this site. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
8. Your responsibility and indemnity
You are responsible for how you use the information and for what you do at the places you visit. If you breach these terms or the law in connection with your use of the site, for example by trespassing, causing damage at a location, or copying site content unlawfully, and a claim is made against the site operators as a result, you agree to compensate them for the reasonable costs, losses and legal fees that result, to the extent permitted by law.
9. External links and services
Links to Google Maps and other sites are provided for convenience only. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content. When you follow a link or use a share button, the terms and privacy policy of that service apply.
10. No affiliation; trademarks
This site is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Paramount, Warner Bros., Wizarding World, J.K. Rowling, the estate of Mario Puzo or the filmmakers.
Film titles, character names and related marks belong to their respective owners. We use them only to identify the films whose filming locations we describe. The site contains no film stills, posters, trailers, logos or soundtrack music.
11. Our content and third-party content
Texts, design, maps and the selection of places are © the site operators, unless stated otherwise.

12. Corrections, copyright and takedown requests
To report an error, a missing or wrong photo credit, or content that you believe infringes your rights (copyright, privacy or any other right), use the form on the Contact page.
Please name the page and the material, explain the problem and, if you want a reply, leave a way to reach you. We review every request. When there is doubt, we remove or hide the material promptly while the request is being reviewed, and restore it only if it turns out that it may lawfully stay.
13. Fair use of the site
Do not misuse the site or its contact form. That includes sending spam, malicious code or unlawful content, trying to break or overload the site, and submitting other people's personal details without their permission.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any matter relating to the site, are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel, have exclusive jurisdiction. If you use the site as a consumer, this does not take away any protection given to you by mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
